Yllvape Side Bubbler – cools the vapor and filters out residue

The Side Bubbler is filled with water and noticeably cools the vapor from your Angus Enhanced. At the same time, it filters dust and small herb particles from the vapor path. Measuring 15.6 cm in height and just 2 cm in diameter, it has an exceptionally slim design.

Two functions at once

Cooling is the obvious function: Passing through the water lowers the temperature before the vapor reaches you. Especially with the Angus Enhanced, with its halogen heating and boost mode up to 230 °C, this means you can use higher temperature settings without the draw feeling harsh.

The second function is less well known: The water catches dust and fine herb particles that have made it through the screen. Anything that ends up in the water does not reach you – you notice this especially toward the end of a bowl, when the material has become finer.

How to fill it correctly

Let the water flow slowly into the mouthpiece opening at the top. The water level regulates itself, so you cannot do much wrong. Then dry the outside of the bubbler thoroughly.

Our advice: Let it rest for about an hour afterward before using it. This ensures that everything has settled and no residual moisture remains on the outside.

Be sure to test it before first use

There is one step you should not skip: Test the water filter on the device before using it for the first time to make sure there are no leaks. Vaporizers contain electronics, and these must never come into contact with water.

The test takes two minutes and could save your device. Simply fill the bubbler separately and observe it briefly before attaching it.

Draw, empty, clean

Inhale calmly rather than hastily. If you draw too forcefully, water may be drawn in – with all water filters, this is a matter of technique, not a product defect.

To empty it, simply pour out the water. If any residue remains, briefly blow into the filter to push out the remaining water.

Isopropyl alcohol, dish soap, or a specialized cleaner are suitable for cleaning. Soak the bubbler, then rinse it with clean water and allow it to dry completely. A practical trick: Take a Ziplock bag, briefly check it for tears, place the bubbler inside, and add the alcohol – this lets you shake it vigorously without spilling.

Slimly designed for everyday use

With a diameter of just 2 cm, the Side Bubbler is deliberately narrow. It barely changes the device's balance and, at 55 g, can easily be taken with you – unlike bulky water filters that tend to stay in one place.

Buying a spare is worthwhile

The Angus Enhanced already comes with a Side Bubbler from the factory. Those who buy another one usually do so for one of two reasons: Either the original has broken – something that can never be completely ruled out with glass – or they simply do not want to wait for it to be cleaned every time.

The second point is often underestimated: A bubbler must dry completely after an alcohol soak, and that takes time. With two bubblers used in rotation, this waiting time is eliminated completely.

Our practical tip

Change the water every session to keep the flavor fresh – stale water has a noticeable taste. Clean the bubbler regularly rather than waiting for buildup to form. And after rinsing, make sure it is completely dry before reconnecting it to the device.

Conclusion

The Side Bubbler noticeably smooths the vapor from the Angus Enhanced and holds back residue – slim, easy to fill, and light enough for on-the-go use at 55 g. It is just as useful as a replacement after breakage as it is as a second piece for alternating use.
