The Angus Enhanced is a herb vaporizer that takes its own approach: Its heat source is a 100-watt halogen lamp, whose heat is absorbed and transferred by ruby beads. The result is a convection hybrid that delivers exceptional flavor—and requires no stirring.

How the halogen lamp and rubies work together

The halogen lamp emits heat and light, both of which are absorbed by the ruby beads beneath the herb chamber. The beads store the energy and release it evenly—this combines convection with conduction to produce consistent, flavorful vapor. The practical benefit: Because the heat is distributed so evenly, there is no need to stir during the session.

Glass beads in the stem for additional cooling

A detail for connoisseurs: The screen in the glass stem is height-adjustable, creating room for additional glass beads (sold separately). They increase the surface area over which the vapor cools. Depending on the stem length, the small, medium, and large tubes hold approximately 70, 100, or 150 beads, respectively.

Stepless airflow control

The airflow control is located at the bottom of the device. Turn it clockwise to restrict the airflow—the draw becomes denser and more flavorful. Turn it counterclockwise to open it for a looser, more vapor-filled draw. This lets you adjust the device to your draw style, not the other way around.

Five levels plus Boost

You can choose from five temperature levels: 180, 190, 200, 210, and 220 °C. Each one has a Boost mode with an additional 10 °C, activated by holding down the button until the device vibrates. After five minutes, the Angus switches off automatically—a press of the power button extends the session.

Insulated PEEK airpath

The vaporization chamber is separate from the electrical components, so every draw delivers clean vapor. The inner airpath is made of PEEK, a high-quality heat-resistant plastic used in many vaporizers. The main body is made of PPSU—a material also used in medical devices that can withstand the occasional knock.

Two side-swappable batteries

The Angus Enhanced uses two 18650 batteries, which can be changed from the side via the Dual-Side-Load system. With 2800 mAh cells, you can get around six sessions per charge. It charges at 2 amps via USB-C, and thanks to pass-through, you can continue vaping while it charges.

Bubbler and adapter included

One particularly welcome accessory feature is that Yllvape includes a Side Bubbler with the Angus—you do not need to buy anything extra to use water filtration.
