One part that everything depends on

The Angus Enhanced comes with three glass stems in different lengths, plus a bubbler and a water filter adapter. As varied as the selection is, they all use the same holder.

This makes the part the quiet center of the setup: If the base is damaged or lost, not a single mouthpiece can be used, no matter how many glass stems you have in the cupboard. Keeping a spare replacement part at home is therefore a good idea.

A secure fit determines the draw

The holder ensures that the mouthpiece fits firmly and straight. This is more than a matter of convenience: If the connection is loose, air leaks in at this point – the vapor loses density, and the draw feels different than intended.
