Heating system and materials: premium down to the smallest detail
The heart of the LIVE is a patented hybrid convection heating system. Your herbs are gently and evenly heated with hot air, without direct contact with the heating coil—providing flavorful vapor without combustion. You can freely set the temperature from 40 to 220 °C in 1-degree increments, the widest range currently offered by a Wolkenkraft Vaporizer.
Stainless steel air channel instead of aluminum
One detail that sets the LIVE apart from many premium devices: while most use aluminum air-channel heating elements, the LIVE’s air channel is made entirely of stainless steel (SS304). The heating coil is positioned above the air channel and below the titanium chamber shell. In terms of vapor volume, the system is every bit as good as aluminum solutions, while delivering noticeably purer, smoother vapor—it is less harsh on the throat and reduces the urge to cough.
Plastic-free vapor path made from high-quality materials
The entire vapor path is plastic-free. COOLSCREEN: cooling that makes all the difference
If there is one feature that defines the LIVE’s flavor, it is the patented COOLSCREEN module. It sits in the mouthpiece holder and consists of cooling zirconium dioxide ceramic and a gold-plated filter with 15 holes. Halfway through this gold filter, the vapor is swirled before continuing on its way—cooling it noticeably more effectively than a simple cooling path.
The result is smooth, pleasantly cool draws unlike those produced by almost any other portable device. This is especially noticeable at higher temperatures: The vapor remains smooth instead of becoming hot and harsh. For anyone sensitive to warm vapor, this was one of the LIVE’s most convincing features in testing.
Display, Operation, and Modes
The LIVE is controlled via a high-resolution 1.3-inch RGB color display and four buttons – with no app required. We were impressed by the display during testing: It is clearly laid out and provides all the necessary information, along with many other interesting details. To be honest, operation is more complex than on the other Wolkenkraft models – but it becomes intuitive over time and offers many ways to customize the device to your own needs.
Sequence Mode – Our Highlight
We were particularly impressed by the Wolkenkraft LIVE Sequence Mode. Instead of adjusting settings yourself, an automatic assistant takes care of the temperature and time for you and guides you through the session with three sub-modes – you can simply sit back. In our view, this mode is precisely what sets the LIVE apart from many other devices: It takes the work off your hands while still delivering a well-rounded result.
My Mode, EXP, and Stealth
In addition, the LIVE offers three other operating modes: In My Mode (M1–M3), you can save up to three favorites for temperature, time, and material – including microdosing, which tracks your daily consumption to the nearest 0.01 g. The EXP mode extends a session that is too short by two minutes via the gyrosensor with a simple arm movement. And the Stealth mode switches off the display with three clicks for particularly discreet use.
Handling, battery and everyday use
At around 311 grams and measuring approximately 112 × 61 × 33 mm, the LIVE is no longer a pocket-sized device—this is worth knowing. On the other hand, it feels solid and premium in the hand, and the ergonomics are right. Anyone coming from a compact pocket vaporizer will notice the difference, but will also gain noticeably better vapor quality and features.
The 3000-mAh battery provides up to 75 minutes of effective use and fully recharges via USB-C Fast Charge in under 85 minutes. Cleaning: modular and practical for everyday use
