Storz & Bickel Fine Screens Set – tight mesh for powdery material

This set of six fine screens is made for a specific case: vaporizing powdery material. Where a normal screen lets fine dust pass through, the tight mesh holds it back. The screens made of stainless steel measure about 30 mm and fit into Volcano, Plenty, and the valve systems of Storz & Bickel.

When a fine screen becomes necessary

Normally ground herb is easily held back by a standard screen. But once your material is very fine or powdery, it’s different: the fine particles find their way through the mesh and end up in the vapor path. That’s exactly what fine screens are for – their tighter mesh filters much more thoroughly and also holds back dust.

Clean vapor, protected technology

A screen serves two purposes in the Vaporizer. It ensures that no plant material enters the vapor path – keeping the flavor pure and the draw free of residue. And it protects your device’s technology from clogging, which directly affects its lifespan. A clogged screen also slows air circulation, which you immediately notice as a heavier draw.

Fits Volcano, Plenty, and the valve systems

With a diameter of about 30 mm, the screens fit into the filling chambers of Volcano Classic, Volcano Digit, and Volcano Hybrid, the Plenty, as well as the Easy Valve and Solid Valve systems. So one set covers several devices if you use more than one.

Clean instead of throw away

The screens are reusable: after the session, usually a Storz & Bickel cleaning brush or a cotton swab is enough. If residues are stubborn, soak them in isopropanol and then rinse thoroughly – after that, they’re ready to use again. Made of stainless steel, they easily withstand this process.

Six pieces means: always one ready to use

With six screens in the set, you never have to wait for a cleaned screen to dry. You simply rotate through them, and the used ones accumulate until it’s worth a cleaning round. That’s why having a stock makes more sense than buying single screens – and regular replacement keeps air circulation and vapor quality consistently good.

Our practical tip

Use the fine screen specifically when your material is particularly fine – with coarser ground herb, a screen with wider mesh draws easier. Replace the screen as soon as the draw noticeably gets heavier; that’s the most reliable sign of a clogged screen. And let the screens dry completely after the isopropanol bath before using them again.
