PAX Tongs for Filling – grip, press, empty

These precision tongs made of stainless steel perform three tasks around the heating chamber of your PAX: They transport and pack your material, they empty the oven chamber, and they come with two additional tools included. At 9.9 cm in length, they remain slim enough to hardly stand out next to the device.

Gripping instead of pushing

The difference from a simple tamper is basically this: The narrow tips grip small pinches of ground material and guide them precisely through the funnel opening into the chamber. So you don’t push in what has already partly fallen aside, but place each portion exactly where it belongs. After the session, the same tips lift out the used filling again.

No resin on your fingers

The point you quickly appreciate in everyday use: Sticky resin stays off your hands. This lets you prepare a session anywhere without having to wash your hands afterward – on the go, in the car, or wherever there’s no sink nearby. Plus, with tongs you can reach spots your fingers simply can’t.

Silicone tamper on top

On top sits a silicone tamper with which you close the oven or bowl. Silicone is the right choice because it’s soft enough not to scratch anything, yet provides enough resistance to press cleanly. So you don’t need to take a second tool in hand.

A hidden tool for the last bits

Under the tamper hides another tool for removing small material residues. It’s used when the tong tips are too coarse – for the last crumbs in corners and edges. Three functions in one piece that fits completely in a pocket.

Best to empty while still warm

A practical connection the tongs enable: residues come off easiest while the metal is still warm – exactly when fingers are out of place. With the tongs, you empty the chamber right after the session without waiting for everything to cool down and the residues to harden.

Light enough for the same pocket

Because the tongs weigh almost nothing, they go in the same pants or shoulder bag as your Vaporizer. They are easy to clean, made of stainless steel, and designed for daily use – compatible with all PAX Vaporizers.

Use several small pinches rather than one large load – this distributes the material more evenly in the chamber and lets the hot air pass through everywhere. Empty right after the session while the chamber is still warm to the touch. And wipe the tips occasionally so no buildup forms on them.
