Fenix NEO Ceramic Cooling Filter – cools the vapor before it arrives

The ceramic cooling filter for the Fenix NEO is made of high-quality zirconium dioxide ceramic and lowers the vapor temperature before it reaches the mouthpiece. Together with the ceramic mouthpiece, it delivers the maximum cooling performance the NEO can offer.

Why zirconium dioxide

Zirconium dioxide is a high-performance ceramic with exactly the properties needed here: It is flavor-neutral, so it does not add any unwanted flavor to the vapor, withstands high temperatures over the long term, and effectively absorbs heat. This heat absorption is precisely why the vapor becomes cooler on its way upward.

Two components, one result

The cooling filter does not work alone: It lowers the temperature on the way to the mouthpiece, while the ceramic mouthpiece continues the cooling process. Only together do they make the NEO’s vapor as cool as possible and noticeably gentler to inhale – especially pleasant when working with higher temperatures.

When replacement makes sense

As part of the vapor path, the cooling filter also becomes clogged over time. If residue can no longer be removed even after cleaning or the draw becomes noticeably more difficult, a fresh replacement restores the original cooling performance. It is also practical as a spare filter, allowing you to keep vaping while the other one dries.

Our practical tip

Remove the cooling filter regularly and clean it together with the mouthpiece – both sit in the same vapor path, and having one clean component next to a dirty one does little good. Allow it to dry completely after cleaning before reinstalling it. And if you enjoy vaping at higher temperatures, a second filter for alternating use is worthwhile.
