Fast, clean, efficient: The Hizen Basic Grinder is a compact 4-piece Grinder made of solid zinc, with a 49 mm diameter that fits in any pocket. Its distinctive feature is the bottom layer: a pollen screen and a pollen chamber catch even the finest particles instead of letting them disappear in the ground material. Available in many different colors.

Four pieces – or three, if you prefer

The Basic Grinder can be used either as a 4-piece or 3-piece: simply remove the screen element, and the ground material falls directly into the lower chamber. Convenient when you don’t want to collect anything but just want to grind quickly and continue. We like this versatility because you don’t have to commit to one setup but can adjust it depending on the situation.

Pollen screen and pollen chamber – nothing gets lost

Grinding releases the finest particles that normally just get lost in the material. The integrated pollen screen lets these pass through and collects them in the pollen chamber below. Over time, quite a bit accumulates there – and with the included scraper, you can clean it out neatly. This way, nothing is wasted, down to the last crumb.

Neodymium magnet in the lid

The grinder is closed by a strong neodymium magnet in the lid. It holds much more firmly than simple magnets and ensures the lid sits tightly. This keeps not only the plant material inside but also the aroma – it doesn’t escape unused while the grinder is in your pocket.

Maintenance-free grinding mechanism made of zinc

The abrasion-resistant grinding teeth work through any herb and deliver a consistent, fine result. The grinding mechanism is maintenance-free: it doesn’t need sharpening and is easy to clean. The solid zinc housing gives the grinder a substantial feel – it feels heavier in the hand than an aluminum model and appears correspondingly high-quality.

Compact, discreet, and available in many colors

With a 4.9 cm diameter, the Basic Grinder is very handy and ideal for on the go. The design is deliberately understated – unobtrusive and practical rather than playful. You can choose from many different colors to find the right one for you.

Our tip for practical use

A trick for an even finer result: turn the grinder upside down a few times while grinding. This causes the material to fall back between the teeth instead of collecting at the bottom. And only empty the pollen chamber when something has really accumulated – then using the scraper is really worth it.
