DynaVap VapCaps – The Cap, The Captive Cap & Low Temp Captive Cap

With the DynaVap VapCaps, we control the heat and get the familiar click feedback – from the classic The Cap to the securely fitting The Captive Cap and the Low Temp Captive Cap for flavor-focused sessions. We select the variant as a product option and build our setup exactly as we use it.

Variants at a glance (differences explained quickly)

• The Cap (Standard) – the classic DynaVap cap with a click. Easy to put on and take off, offering the familiar heating behavior for “normal” temperatures.
• The Captive Cap – with small captive notches that hold the cap more securely on the tip. Rotates in a controlled way when heating, fits tightly, and makes cap changes very comfortable in everyday use.
• Low Temp Captive Cap – like the Captive Cap but designed for lower click temperatures. Ideal if you prefer more terpene flavor, smoother draws, and shorter heat cycles.

Compatibility

• Compatible with DynaVap standard tips (e.g., M-Series, VonG (x/i) with standard tip, WoodWynd, many G-Tips).
• Not compatible with the larger Hyper Tip (HyperDyn). For Hyper Tip, please use Hyper Cap / Thermal Hyper Cap.
• Usable on water pieces as usual – the cap determines the click behavior, tip/stem controls airflow & connection.

Usage & Practice

We fill the tip, place the chosen VapCap on, heat with a jet flame or induction heater, and wait for the click. Then we draw, let it cool down to the second click, and start the next cycle if needed. In practice, we notice: Captive sits more securely when twisting, Low Temp Captive delivers slightly earlier clicks – perfect for flavor-focused, smoother draws.
